#GLOSSTRAVELS - ROYAL DINING AT FAIRMONT JAIPUR

Hello life-lovers

Part 2 of Fairmont Jaipur is here! And as promised its all about the food. Fairmont has two major restaurants - Zarin and Zoya

Zarin, the Indo-Persian restaurant at Fairmont deserves a 5 star or more for being the best hosts. Such a huge space, with dazzling interiors, hand crafted-self painted walls & ceilings. Commendable work by the Architects really.

The sitting space was organised as per the Conventional Royal Persian settings.
There was a long table that could easily fit in 20 or more people together. There were separate tables set up for couples and families.
At night the lights were dim & the aura of the place was soulful & with romance oozing out of the walls. So captivating!
Coming to the food I tried which includes:

Khoresh Fesenjan

A luscious preparation of chicken stew that is cooked in the sweet and sour embrace of

thick pomegranate molasses

Nihari Khaas

An all time classic - Slow cooked lamb stew, gently thickened gravy peppered with

delicate spices

Vegetable Dhanshak

A delectable Persian style vegetable stew

Mirza Ghassemi

A dish from Northern region of Iran consisting eggplant

Kasare Pukhtan

Softened paneer dumplings simmered in a smooth aromatic yellow pumpkin and onion

gravy

Dal Zarin

Steaming warm Lentils gently cooked in tangy tamarind sauce with a dash of saffron

Breads, from Lohe ke Tandoor Se Signature

Khameri Naan / Khameri Roti

Soft and supple wheat bread spiked with yeast that rises to entice gourmands of the

mehfil

Desserts

Set Platter of Shabeh yalda Platter( On the table )

A decadent platter of sweet watermelon, tangy feta cheese, fresh mint leaves, crisp cilantro,

mild basil, fruity pomegranate & crunchy

ZOYA in Jaipur serves delicious food.

 It's a fine dining restaurant. One thing I appreciate is the open kitchen.

A multi-cuisine restaurant of Fairmont Jaipur is breathtakingly beautiful. Light coloured walls along with wooden chairs gives you a royal feel. I tried their Rajasthani thali which I liked the most.

The hospitality of the staff is just excellent in both the restaurant.
