I turned 23! That's right! This is means its close to two years since I began blogging. And what better way to enjoy this auspicious occasion than celebrating it with the newly opened Marriott Al Forsan.
Nestled in the outskirts of Abu Dhabi , this hotel is a luxurious safe haven for business travelers.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the doorman and I walked into the grand lobby. I was able to get my room key cards immediately and was escorted by the hotel staff to my luxurious Suite. Check-in process was seamless and it was a good way to welcome its guests.
After checking in, I was very thrilled to see what my room could offer. So, I immediately entered my room, placed my bag on the luggage stand and went straight to the writing desk. My eyes wowed in surprise when I saw a beautiful cake placed on top of the desk and it instantly warmed my heart. That very moment, I immediately felt that I’m at home.

The suite was extremely spacious and I totally love the bathroom. Overall, I was really impressed with the room. It was much bigger than expected and I especially liked the various pieces of artwork displayed. At night, the room featured one of the most remarkable views of Abu Dhabi.
I like the fact that the bathroom is very organized with good lighting. Apart from the hot and cold shower area, it also has a bathtub. It is also complete with high quality toiletry with all kinds of towels and bathrobes. Although I rarely use bathrobes, I still love to see bathrooms with bathrobes in it. For me, it makes the bathroom more luxurious.

The pool itself is surrounded by the Marriott, and it is only when you are outside can you appreciate just how big the hotel is.
Next to the pool was the hotel gym, which had a surprisingly good selection of free weights and equipment.
As for breakfast, glad to see a full salad bar and omelette station, great variety of fruit juices and milks with the usual hot dishes such as hash-brown, bacon, ham and spread of local delights.
Overall, my experience in Marriot Al Forsan was amazing ! A perfect staycation spot for those who want to have a weekend break in the Metro. Cant thank them enough for making my birthday memorable.
With its good location, quality amenities, good customer service, best tasting food and perfect location, this hotel is definitely the one to beat.
