Something Saucy - Restaurant Review
Hello life - lovers
Back with another amazing restaurant review from Gurgoan. This one is pretty close to my heart because of its unique dishes , amazing hospitality and of course the wonderful location. I have been a resident of gurgoan for over 3 years but it was all the more heart warming to see how much things have changed in the past one year.
One such amazing change is the introduction of these amazing food trucks at sec 29. One is very much aware of the area where kingdom of dreams exist . Right opposite to this is an area devoted to purely all the amazing and different food trucks with seats assigned for their respective customers.
One such food truck that caught my eye in particular was - Something Saucy .
Born in the summer of 2015, The Rolling Stove is making its first impressions on India’s next revolution in dining – FoodTrucks! Based on the belief that excellent, well prepared food should be available everyday at your doorstep we rolled out their first gourmet-multicuisine-truck in Gurgaon in August.
“Something Saucy” by the Rolling Stove, is their tribute to the rich flavours and deep aroma of the gravy/ curry that makes a dish come to life. Offering a choice of 9 uniquely curated flavours they offer you a new culinary experience:
Creamy Mushroom: Sliced mushroom sautéed in fresh garlic with homemade béchamel and cream
Red Curry: Homemade red thai curry paste with beautifully fragrant flavours and cooked with coconut milk
Creamy Pepper: Brown sauce made with freshly grounded black pepper finished with béchamel sauce
Yellow Curry: Sauce infused with curry leaves, home ground curry powder and secret Indian spices
Bao: Blend of sweet and spicy Cantonese brown sauce
Kung Pao: Blend of several spicy Cantonese ingredients to create a brown sauce topped with crunchy peanuts
Cola BBQ: Homemade creation of cola sauce with smoky BBQ flavours
Orange Ginger: Our own creation of orange puree with fresh ginger juice
Date and Tamarind: Homemade khajur imli chutney converted to a Cantonese style sauce
This is what I tried - starting with the burgers they were juicy and so rich. I loved the concept of different colored buns for different flavors.
We loved this appetizers - Soya for veg and chicken for non veg. Really left the senses tingling .
For main course we had the cream and pepper noodles which was absolutely delicious beyond words
The strawberry lemonade was amazing. So was the amazing dessert made with a caramel filling called -Donuls
Verdict -
Over all the experience was amazing and the food was over the top. Really enjoyed the place and I highly recommend you to try this place out when in gurgoan
