Do Your Bit !

Hey life - lovers !

This post is going to be different. No beauty ideas . No beauty ideas . No reviews . No fashion or beauty advice. More human .

We are all well aware of the war in Syria . Of course we know thanks to the news channels , papers and most importantly the celebrities . When celebs are talking everyone are listening. Recently Cody Simpson gave away his Twitter handle to a Syrian refugee with which he constantly updated tweets about his condition is Syria to his millions of followers. These tweets were highly praised . Yes it is worth praising but let's get down the celebrity train for a minute and talk about this unsung hero .

Mozahem Alsaloum. He's 23. From Deer Ez Zour, Syria. Before the war he was a university student. Now he's an activist and works in relief and media . He is always traveling in and out of Syria filming the current situation there and also help those in need in the process . He is accompanied by a fabulous team of volunteering friends and I had the pleasure to study with one of them - Jude Abadi . When I came to know about their amazing campaign to raise some funds to help those in need in Syria  I just had to share it with you all , As quoted by Jude As winter approaches, many Syrians are trapped within the war ravaged country. They'll have survived Regime airstrikes, barrel bombs, mortars and snipers but may freeze to death. A friend of mine, Mozahem Al-Saloum started a campaign to help these people inside Syria. He will personally be there to distribute aid. $50 will provide a family with heaters, fire wood, blankets, plastic tarp etc. "

In a world full busy people I respect this man and all those involved for being selfless and caring. It is such people that constantly remind me that humanity still exists. And the best part- you can do your bit too.

CLICK HERE to join the campaign .

I hope your contribution help them get through this winter. Very grateful to Jude for giving me this opportunity to share this with you guys.

You can check her profile and photos from her recent visit to Syria here

Much love!
