The Turquoise Touch

This is a post I was planning to publish since May. But always forgot!

This time I thought I will share with you what I wore for my college farewell. I was pursuing my bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication (BJMC) from Amity University Gurgoan. My course got completed on May 2015. As far as what I wore is concerned...

I wore this gorgeous Turquoise Saree with a golden blouse.
Farewells in India always have an ethnic dress code. Hence the Saree.

I complimented the Saree with golden sandals , thin long silver earrings and a set of golden bangles with silver shimmer.

I kept the accessories to a minimum to give it a simple yet elegant look.

I wasn't sure at first whether turquoise would compliment my dusky skin but I guess one learns a lot from experimenting. This is how I styled my farewell look.
