Elle 18 Color Boost Lipstick Review

First and foremost I have to say this- I will be off my blogging and youtube session for some time. This is due to my hectic schedule and lack of wifi wherever I travel to. But I will be back on action by the end of next month. I just finished my journalism degree from Amity University and I am waiting to get a decision on my masters. So until then I have to go offline and get my mind straight.


Now it's time for my latest review on Elle 18 Color Boost Lipstick.

I am picking few favorites of the collection for my dusky skin. So if you are the one with a skin tone from medium to dark I got your back.










Price of New Elle 18 Color Boost Lipstick : Rs.150/-

It comes in 10 super shades like Pinks, Reds and Oranges.

Here are the list of lip shades I loved 

07 Hollywood Pink: Reddish Pink with silver shimmer

10 Superlicious Red : Red with a hint of coral

08 Red Passion: Orange Red

01 Miss Pink: Fuchsia Pink

05 Nude Coral:  Everyday nude shade with a hint of coral

06 Blonde Pink: Pink Brown with silver shimmer

This lipstick is enriched with a special cocoa-butter formula that keeps lips soft and color intact for up to 6 hours.Of course. they don’t stay for 6 hours as claimed, but the staying power is better than the previous Color Pop Lipsticks.The lighter shades stay for around 2.5-3 hours and the darker ones stay for around 3.5-4 hours, without and eating that is.

They look the same as the Color Pop lipsticks except these have a hot pink cap. The packaging is cute and very girly. The lipstick has a creamy colored soft core which boosts pigmentation and also does the work of a lip balm.

I’m loving these new Elle 18 Color Boost lipsticks. In terms of quality, they don’t lag behind any of the higher priced lipsticks. I love the bright colors, the soft, smooth and super creamy texture, the good pigmentation (specially the pinks), that they don’t feather or bleed and the fact that they also hydrate my lips. They are also less glossy than the Color Pop lipsticks.

So it's a definite thumbs up from my side !
