Hint Hunt Review- Trapped In A Murder Room

Have you always wanted to experience a real-life murder investigation like how you do in video games? I know I have. Growing up I was a gamer who loved solving mysteries in games but never once did I think that it would be possible outside the screen. Then I came across Hint Hunt thanks to Active PR! 

What is Hint Hunt?

According to their official site- Imagine the bizarre situation of The Lumière brothers, the inventors of cinema, when they needed to describe to people what they came up with. It was so obvious to the creators, but completely insane for the masses. We guess the best the brothers could say was: “Well, we can’t tell too much, come, sit down, you need to experience it”. So people tried it, enjoyed it and learnt what a motion picture is. For good. 

Well, it is something very similar with live escape games. It is very tricky to describe them at first, but once you tried it, the genre is obvious. The only difference is that in the 21st century everything happens so fast that this genre was not invented by two definite brothers, but by more curious minds at the same time, seemingly independently and in different countries. Sounds crazy? We know, but Japan, Hungary and Silicon Valley were equal inventors somewhere around in the mid 2000’s.
And Honestly! I was mind blown by their concept! 

What Did I Play?

I played the JM's office game with my blogger best bud Nehan (P.S you should definitely follow her at @nehan.s in insta as she is a fashion queen) and my bro. It was completely different from what we expected. 

How was the experience?

Mind blowing! I dont want to give away much as there is a lot to experience. The whole point is to solve a murder mystery with the help of clues from all over the given place. Sounds easy? No! it really gets your brain working in all sorts of directions. In a time period of 60 mins you are expected to solve the mystery with your friends. Overall the experience was great and its a pretty good spot to spend a fun afternoon with your friends or family.
